كاهن الرعية المتقدم في الكهنة الأب كمال الياس الرحيل

Welcome....

to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church! On behalf of the Clergy and the Parish Council, I greet each of you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I am  so glad to have you visit our web site. It is our prayer that you will find something to peak your interest, as well as, finding information that will be helpful and even enable you to change your very life. This web site has been prepared to help familiarize you with the many services available to you here

at St. George. The mission of St. George Church is to serve God and the Greater Jacksonville  Area by commitment to the Gospel Command and to grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ through faith, hope, and love.

Our church is known as "A Church where truth and love abound", and we are always delighted whenever others come to visit with us. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to minister to God's people. Whenever you are in the Jacksonville area, we invite you to come worship with us and hear the word of the Lord, as it is bible-taught.

A special invitation is extended to all college students who may be attending one of the many colleges in the Jacksonville area. We pray that you will make our church home "your home away from home," and that you would consider sharing your time, talents, and other resources for the benefit of your fellow man. Either case, we hope that in your own way, you become part of the St. George family. Our doors are always open to answer any questions that you may have. Please join us in the hall after the Divine Liturgy for our coffee hour social and fellowship.

We pray that this day will be spiritually rewarding to you and that our Lord Jesus Christ will continue to bless you and your family always.

Very Rev. Archpriest Kamal Al-Rahil, Pastor

  Jesus' Prayer

"Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, Have mercy on me a sinner."

Dear friends, we need to learn how to mention Christ everyday every minute. This simple and short prayer is called Jesus' Prayer. Try to say it as much as you can, because this is the Rock of the Christian Faith.
